Wellbeing Tennis Escape (3 Nights)
This package is aimed at a 3 night stay with arrival on Thursday and departure on Sunday. The package is aimed at couples, individuals and groups and each itinerary is designed to maximise your weekend in resort.
The tennis coaching side of the package features 8 hours on court with our resident tennis professionals as they take you through a series of 2 hour coaching clinics that cover the key aspects of the game. Off the court, we have booked the service of an excellent yoga instructor who is on hand every day to offer players some basic yoga and relaxation time. The package is completed by daily access to the spa facilities where you can unwind both your body and your mind further.

Wellbeing Tennis Escape (Sample Programme Details)
Thursday: 6pm-7pm – Tennis Welcome and Assessment / Goal Setting with Coaching Team
“For all ACTA coaching courses, players are invited to attend an initial tennis welcome session for 1 hour with the teaching professionals. This session gives players the chance to hit a few balls and have their game assessed, meet other players looking to participate in the programme for the week, seek equipment advice or simply get to know the set up at the academy. This session also gives players participating in the course a chance to enter into some goal setting for the days ahead. Following on from the assessment, players are given the chance to stay on court and play socially and then your host for the weekend will provide details for the welcome evening meal for all players that is included in your package."
Friday: 9am-11am – Coaching Clinic 1: Academy Drills and Movement Patterns
“Discover the secrets to improving your tennis skills through the Annabel Croft Tennis Academy philosophy of movement and repetition. Your coach will lay out a series of drills and exercises that places movement at the forefront of your learning process. Find out how mastering your feet can make all the other areas of the game fall quickly into place."
Friday: 4pm-6.30pm - Social Play followed by Yoga
“We have included some court time for all players to enjoy playing socially together in this package and Friday afternoon is all about enjoyment on court. The courts are pre-booked for 1.5 hours for doubles or singles and then this is followed immediately by a relaxing yoga class to stretch and unwind in a memorable setting overlooking the ocean.”
Saturday: 9am-11am – Coaching Clinic 2: Technical Development
“The first coaching clinic on Saturday covers the key technical progressions needed to improve your game whether it be use of spin, adding power or gaining consistency in your play. The main focus is on groundstrokes but there will be elements of the clinic devoted to the serve as well."
Saturday: 4pm-6pm – Coaching Clinic 3: Total Tactics
“Having mastered your technique in the morning, you will be asked to demonstrate your understanding of the tactics in the game of tennis in the afternoon. Your coach will assist in offering key advice to enhance this understanding and significantly improve your ability to make the most of your skills either for adding more fun to your social play or for making your game more competitive”
Saturday: 6pm-7pm - Unwind and Stretch
“The 2nd of the weekends scheduled yoga classes follows on from the afternoon's tactics clinic. Your instructor will show you how to stretch properly after a hard day on court as well as learning how to control your breathing."
Sunday: 9am-11am – Coaching Clinic 4: Speciality Shots and Net Play
“Sundays coaching is all about trying something new that could add an extra dimension to your play. This could be learning how to master the volley to help improve your doubles play or to add a new shot to your repertoire such as the drop or drive volley. Have some fun, try a few new ideas and re-invent your skill sets!"
Sunday: 11am until Departure
“Following on from Sundays clinic, players are free to check out and use the resorts facilities until their departure. The academy will reserve some free court time for all players should they want to stay on and enjoy some more social play and of course there will be a short presentation and farewell to all players from our coaching team."
