The first Annabel Croft Tennis Academy was set up in Roehampton, SW London in April 2009 by Annabel and her husband Mel Coleman. The programme at the National Tennis Centre (NTC) was designed to encourage junior players to maximise their time on court by hitting high volumes of tennis balls through patterns and drills that Annabel learnt on the tennis tour. The academy started to really develop its philosophy of "Movement & Repetition" that it still holds true to today.
The motto of the Annabel Croft Tennis Academy is “Love.Tennis” and it has become a working philosophy for all of the ACTA operations. All of our staff, players, clients and friends share a common passion for the game of tennis and the people that play it. We honestly believe that tennis is a game for life once you have “the bug” and can recount stories of play on court with players as young as 2 and as old as 95!
